The Company of Good Women

Oh, dear me! I just did something completely crazy and emailed in my reviews of the best two books I've read in a long time to the authors!! AHHH!! I'm such a dork. I hope they do stop in to see my blog and read my other book reviews (which are located on the right hand side of my blog if you haven't read them!!). I'm sure I've made a ton of grammatical and punctuation errors in my blog, etc. So I will be mortified if I did, but isn't that what an editor is for?? hahah! Maybe one day I'll actually get one. So friends, let me know which book you think I should write a little more on this week. Ami in China in the middle of a war with her baby girl. An adventure story based on historical events for middle-school age kids. Or Journal of Jeannette. Adoption book for kids whose parents are adopting. You pick, I'll see what I can do. Oh, then there's that book I was going to write with my BFF!! That the COB's already wrote. We'll have to think up our little twist to make the book our own Linds. What do you think?? I love you all!! Enjoy our soggy week!!! May you get some sunshine wherever you are!

I found your blog, Vicki

I loved your post about The Company of Good Women and the positive reviews, of course! This is what authors live for--knowing that what they've written has touched a reader's life in a positive way. Nancy and Lael thank you, too.

Your passion for both reading and writing is clear on your blog. I hope you and your BFF will start on that book. Get some thoughts down, and then, believe me, ideas will start coming. And don't worry that you're in two different states. I live in Arizona, Nancy in Utah, and Lael in CA. Thanks to e-mail and unlimited long distance it can be done.

We'll be updating our website at www.virtualsisters.net soon. And would love to have you visit our Crusty Old Broads blog.

Blessings from the three of us.

Hey! Ok, do you live in a red brik house up there? The other day when Heston and I went for a motorcycle ride we drove past this red brick house just up the street from the country store and I thought I saw Mike's car out front for sale and there was a really cute little brunette sitting on the front porch, no shoes on, feet up, reading a book. At first glance I thought, what a beautiful moment. After we passed I thought the car looked like Mike's and I wondered if that could have been your house!
